- Research and promote sustainable drainage and natural flood management in high groundwater areas
- Review and research gaps in current planning policies for high groundwater areas

- Continue to support assessment of project innovation working collaboratively with the project’s partnership

Academia and Research
- Refine methodology for mental health research and start gathering information with residents
- Continue PhD study into community resilience
- Commission a Masters student to conduct research on climate change and groundwater flooding

Legacy
- Undertake market research to identify appetite for a national groundwater flooding network. Define the Network’s structure.
- Develop a communication strategy for a groundwater network as appropriate
- Gather additional information during the remaining years of the project to feed into the Legacy Strategy
